And water douses~

[ He playfully splashes steaming water at the other, eyes merry and almost painfully bright. ]

[ Maglor squawks, and splashes back ]

And did you call the storm, Singer? [ Maglor likes it best like this, when Daeron forgets to pretend to be entirely Incarnate, allowing his power to leak through ]

[ It hurts, to keep all of himself In all the time. It is why he rarely drifts to where those vulnerable to his nature gather. But he can let loose...a little...just enough...with Maglor.

It's easy to forget when around this Elf.

The squawk has him laugh. ]

Nay! Not as yet. Perhaps the next one will answer my call.

[ The Amanians are all used to Ainur walking amongst them - Maglor does his best to make things easier for Daeron in return for all that the other does for him in turn ]

Hm, if you play too much with the lightning, you may upset Lord Osse~

[ A gift that is precious. Daeron tries to avoid burning him. Maglor is behaving! Burning is unnecessary just yet. Hopefully never. ]

He would enjoy the show~

[ Maglor is doing his best! It's only fair ]

Ah, true... [ Maglor splashes him a little ]

He might even join in. And then I would be terribly wet.

[twilightminstrel]

[ He grins at the splash and answers, never aiming for eyes that might hurt. This much, the water answers. ]

We would not let you drown, Nightingale~

Drown? No.

[ He trusts them both for that, now. Although it took a lot of time with Osse ]

Thoroughly soak however... [ He says dryly ]

[ Osse is Osse. ]

We're already soaked.

[ INNOCENT. SERENE. ]

[bythewaves]

[ Osse still sometimes forgets that Incarnate = Squishy ]

So we are. [ Maglor agrees serenely, and then tries to dunk them ]

[twilightminstrel]

[ To be fair...Daeron does too, sometimes.

And then he's reminded by such antics as being pushed under the surface of the water! Delight flashes silver-bright through him at the play and he grabs for the other to drag him down in answer. ]

[bythewaves]

[ Yes, but Daeron remembers a lot faster! Being squishy himself, after all!

Maglor sputters and grins, tumbling down into the water to shove playfully at the other. ]

[twilightminstrel]

[ Just so!

Daeron grins right back, happily shoving in answer before tugging them back to the surface to breathe. Although laughing in the process makes that a bit of a challenge! ]

[bythewaves]

[ Maglor comes up sputtering for air, still laughing, grinning at Daeron cheerfully ]

Oops~

[twilightminstrel]

[ The sputtering is what has him smirk, eyes so very bright. He settles against an edge of the spring, pushing his hair back from his face. ]

'Oops?' Is that all you have to say for yourself?

[bythewaves]

Maglor grins at him, eyes widening in artificial innocence.

"Yes?"

[twilightminstrel]

If nothing else, that grin and blatant false innocence has him laughing again.

"Horrible! Irreverent!"

As if he cares so very much!

Right up until he reaches out to dunk his dear Feanorion right back under water.

[bythewaves]

"I am Feanorian!"

He laughs, and does not fight the retaliation, except to try and drag Daeron down with him.

[twilightminstrel]

Why bother fighting? Daeron dives down after him, shoving playfully and holding on. Good moods like this are rare and precious. He's holding tight to it while it lasts.

And so he's happy to play!

[bythewaves]

It's rare for either of them to succumb to playfulness like this. The good days are more frequent here, however. Perhaps the change of scenery was needful.

Maglor grins at Daeron and shoves at him. Which one of them will need to go up for air first?
