Maglor blinks and then laughs softly, brokenly, and hugs him back.

"I suppose not. It's just... I was so happy and then this happened..."

He grins unapologetically and rests their heads together.

"This is just a bump in the road. We will climb over it together. Uncle Maedhros will join us when he is ready."

Maglor murmurs softly.
