[ The locket chimes when he's up at the Citadel, during one of his cooldowns, so alas, poor Alice, your ada has his shirt off again ]

Alice? What have you and Kevin been up to?

[ OH, NO. Alice covers her face with a very large groan. ]

For goodness sakes!

[ She's already plenty exasperated and Alice refuses to move her hands until he's covered up. ]

There was smoke downstairs because he didn't know how to cook. I nearly had a heart attack.

Hm? [ Oh right, shirt ] A moment, Alice - you caught me at a bad time I fear. [ Give him a sec... there. Look he's wearing the new one? ]

Are either of you are hurt?

[digophelia]

[ She pears through her fingers before removing her hands completely to ensure he's got his shirt back on. She doesn't understand it; maybe it's a man thing, maybe it's an elf thing. Whatever it is, it's a little weird to see your father figure like that. ]

No! But it gave me such a fright!

[ Oh good, and he relaxes - he did not truly think so, or Alice would have been more worried, but it is good to have that confirmation ]

Ah yenya - I am sure that it did, but am grateful that neither of you are harmed. And so? What happened Alice?

[digophelia]

[ Had it been an actual fire, Alice would have had a panic attack. ]

I came downstairs to see him trying to cook a large piece of meat and he overcooked it.

[ He knows, which is why he is gentler than he might have been, otherwise ]

Ah, I suppose we will need to teach him then, you and I - so that this does not happen again.

[digophelia]

I've already lunch for him, I suppose it wouldn't hurt.

[ It would be kind of nice, too. Maglor cooks and Alice appreciates the helping hand. Other than that, he's missed out on the general ridiculousness, aside from Alice kicking Kevin's wall when she braces her feet up against it. ]

[ An amused chuff ] Mm, an oversight on my part as well, I suppose. I am sure he will be glad of the help, considering. I will be home soon, Alice.

[digophelia]

You will?

[ She looks genuinely surprised. She manages the upkeep of this house without request because it's something to do and keeps her productive. But if he's coming back, then she may just have to stop being obnoxious to Kevin. ]

[ a raised eyebrow ] Yes? Is that not what you wished for, gwilwileth? But irregardless, I am all but done up here - it is not a hardship.

[ Except that part where Kevin may also come to him and complain about Alice. ]
