She practically leaps up, bounding forward and with her height she knows she can't easily grab him as much. With her fists clenching and unclenching, Alice is a loss of words for a moment. He even smells like fire and she has to double check that he's not burned in any way, worst of all.
All Alice does is take a balled fist and strike him in the chest. He told her to leave when she wanted to stay by his side, just to make sure that nothing would happened. It almost bordered on being obsessive.
